Conservatives basically believe the only option people have is too work hard and try to improve themselves and help family. Sometimes they are blinded by this and miss opportunities to actually help people who need help.
Liberals believe that they are smarter and that if everyone had access to same the education, books, etc. then everyone would agree. They can't stand it when they meet people who have read the same books, access to education and then DISAGREE with them. It kind of shatters their worldview.
Throughout all this my Trump voting family have been angry but have kept strength through humor, God and their friends. They actually can be reassuring and pleasant to talk to. My liberal friends have gone completely off the deep end. Interesting what a crisis shows us.
1. One side will never discover they have been duped because they are of superior intellect.
2. One side is power hungry and preach unity through the use of political, social, legal and at times physical violence - damn the science!
3. Amicable reconciliations are never possible when one side thinks they are superior to the other. Their rhetoric and the rhetoric of their celebrity leadership in the national government prove just how deplorable conservative people are in their view. Some of the most vile anti-human rights statements I've heard in my lifetime directed towards conservatives by the Branch Covidians in America rings of pre-WWII era speeches by Hitler and the propaganda of his Nazi ministers. Putting conservatives on lists for heavens sake? And that was but one of the good statements! Please tell me how any type of reconciliation can take place when one side displays these traits?
